PoleMaster bracket part deux.
This is an updated bracket to attach the PoleMaster polar alignment camera to the Avalon Instruments M Zero mount. The plan is to attach the 3D printed bracket to the bottom arm where the RA counter weights sit. Obviously this has to be done before any OTA and guide scope is mounted onto the M Zero. At the moment the weather conspires against testing as it has been cloudy every night for the past 2 weeks. A basic design was made in CAD and then fabricated on the QIDI X-Plus printer using PLA plastic. After looking at the 3D print, I came up with a better design that uses less material.
The next iteration in the Polemaster design uses less PLA print material and has a slightly more elegant appearance. If my original printed adapter ever gets lost or damaged, then this will be the replacement.
